Established by Greek immigrants in the 70’s, the club was originally known as Newcastle Olympic. After 16 years battling away in the lower divisions, Olympic finally broke into 1st division. Their achievement saw the club gain three automatic promotions from 4th division to 1st division in the 3 years. A feet never seen before in Northern NSW Football.
Since their promotion in 1992, Olympic has won 8 club championships, their most recent in 2018. Add 6 Northern State League titles and a handful of lower grade and youth titles, Olympic is one of the most successful Northern NSW Football clubs in the past 30 years.
